Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Poplar 1 Villa for your break. We look forward to welcoming you.
When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us and automatically agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Prices
The price includes accommodation and all facilities mentioned under facilities on this website. All extra’s such as baby sitting, laundry, chauffeur driver, airport transfer will all be charged as additional. We accept the following forms of payment: cash, PayPal and EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
Cancellation and Insurance
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. Our cancellation policy is that any cancellations should be given with 48 hours notice prior to your stay. Otherwise, you will incur one night charge, but in any case your deposit is non-refundable. We do urge you to take out travel insurance at the time of booking.
Non-availability
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival
Your accommodation will be available to you from 16h00 on the day that you have booked. Should you be arriving earlier, we will gladly offer you luggage storage facilities at no charge. Your bill balance for the accommodation is payable on arrival.
Departure
Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 12.00PM on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Your any extras services taken during your stay is payable on departure. Again, if your flight or alternate form of transport is later than midday then we will gladly keep your luggage.
Damages, Breakages and Lost Keys
Please take care of our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage caused during your occupancy including any accidents (property or bodily) that may occur. If any damage is caused you are responsible up to the full cost of replacement or repair. The costs will be taken from the deposit used to secure the booking or pay for the stay. This also applies to anything that goes missing from the villa during your stay. One key lost will incur a R2000 charge for replacement.
Liability
We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Internet Access
We provide free wireless internet access. Please make sure your laptop has wireless function. As the service is beyond our control, we cannot guarantee internet access quality.
No Smoking
Indoors of Poplar 1 Villa is strictly non smoking. Smoking is only permitted in outdoor public areas where there is an ashtray.
Pets
Pets are not permitted.
